in Picmonkey and added an overlay (sorry don't have a link for that one)
* Applied various filters in Gimp - emboss, wind, soft glow
* Opened new image in Ultra Fractal, applied slight ripple mapping and a lightening layer, then added triptych layers.
* Back to Picmonkey for a bit more lightening and softening of the colours, then added the border and text.
